And i PWNz. and i play in a private server

Actually, I'm searching for a pay-to-play MMO - and f the Old Rebublic doesn't turn out to be as good as it apparently is, I'll probably end up joining WoW.
However, on a legitimate server. Because we all want to fll those greedy bastard pockets of Blizzard's pants.

Remember the good old days of warcraft 3: reign of chaos? good times...

i once had WoW ..it was a 18 day offer though .. so i didnt play long ... but i was a dwarf and the second i got to the human homeland ... the offer ended :(

Well, I don't believe that WoW is a worse game just because you have to pay for a subscription - although there are plenty of great non-subscription games out there like Perfect World for instance , a great game but I got sick of the lack of conversation I could participate.

There's also Dead Frontier a very established Z-Day game that's soon going 3-D - and very nice 3-D for a browser game, let me tell you. But I want something with a lot of calm, settle intelligent debating and conversing in it, not the frantic conversations they usually offer.

So in the end, I'd rather go WoW. The only thing that's holding me back is that it's been out so long - I may not have a chance to achieve the fame and glory amongst the community, the fame and glory I usually play a game for.

i would love it if in one of these MMOs they gave you the ability to jump.. most of the ones i have played dont give that ability ... Too bad i think :(

Dude i don't have to pay on a private server, and that is soooo cool.

Most of the people I know play on public servers, which is why I'd rather go there anyway - I'd rather pay for full privileges then get a raw deal on a private server.

Phil, most MMOS have the ability to jump - in fact, absolutely every single MMO I've played had given their players this opportunity.
Except Runescape, of course. They suck to the point where I'm loath to call it a game, let alone a MMO

others .. but they never jumped... maybe in some of the ones
you played they jumped .. but not in the ones i tried...

i Treid playing Runescape... it got so boring i was [run escapein ] my self.. lol

I know WoW as the ability to jump, I've seen it a helluva lot of times.

- Perfect World and Battle of the Immortals both use jumping. It's actually a key component to exploring the world.
- Anarchy Online ( Feces old classic, none of you should have played it, but it's getting a rad overhaul) has jumping as a whole skill, great stuff there.
- Runescape does not have any jumping. this is because it is not in fact a game but some turd in which you can point and click.

oooohhh now i understand why i dont know these jumping ones.. i dont play internet MMOs .. you know like the ones you see advertised? Yeah i only play them if they have a CD...

Well, you may want to try a few. They're good, and well worth the effort.

Well, most of them. Keep away from the cheap-looking ones - not all of them seek to give you a great playing experiance. Right now, I'm playing League of Legends. Great game.

Problem is they all look cheap ....

It takes a trained eye to tell that which is cheap from that which is not.

Most nowadays are incredibly cheap - what you want to look for are those which are not debuts, those which are developed by established companies (League of Legends, for example, was developed by the guys who did DotA Allstars. Awesome stuff, loving it) but in order to make any search of yours, I've decided to include a list.

Don't bother trying them all out, jsut pick something that you know you'll enjoy.
